Cornwall provides a wealth of opportunity for walkers of all kinds…from hardened hikers to casual strollers. The county’s 300 mile stretch of the spectacular South West Coast Path offers walks of varying length and difficulty and includes large areas of outstanding natural beauty, from towering, windswept cliffs to sheltered coves and estuaries. Globe Vale is less than 4 miles from the surfing beaches of Portreath and Porthtowan, where the coast path can be joined, and the famous Coast to Coast: Cornwall Mineral Tramways Trail runs right past the site offering easy access to peaceful walking and cycling. The park is therefore ideally situated and within walking distance to join the path.

Wheal Peevor, a large Mining Heritage site, is just a few minutes walk or cycle from Globe Vale Holiday Park. There are three splendid examples of Cornish Engine houses here. They are well sign posted and safe to explore.
